Cody Uman, MC ‘25

Cody is from Rochester, New York, so they love Wegmans and wish New Haven had more snow.

They are majoring in Mathematics and are in the Yale Education Scholars program to pursue their interest in math education. Cody will happily talk your ear off about factoring, symmetry, logic puzzles, and modular origami. They also love learning languages.

In YPMB, Cody has played sousaphone and been the equipment manager. They also play trombone in Yale Concert Band and various pit orchestras. They love YPMB because it’s a chance to play fun music with cool people. As YPMB manager, Cody gets to put together all the organizational pieces to make the band function. If you have any questions about YPMB or anything else, reach out to cody.uman@yale.edu.
