Mark Lee, ES ‘04

Mark Lee, rock star, has been cranked up to 12  in his whole time with the YPMB.  He was our first full-time electric guitar player.  As Drum Major, Mark conducted at such eclectic moments as our double-overtime football win over Princeton, the ECAC semi-finals, the YNH Children’s Hospital, the MexiCale Grill opening, and the SOM hockey game.  He organized the YPMB’s first ever recording on The Dark Side of the BRoom, selling many CeeDeezs in the process.

As Drum Major, Mark went toe to toe with the Man.  He got charged by the NYPD with “traffic violations” while leading the attack banding of Time’s Square.  The entire band, under his leadership, was investigated by the FBI and Secret Service following The Game (for a prank explosive device found before The Game that the YPMB had nothing to do with).  Despite the chaos of the Bowl being on lockdown the morning of the Game, the hahvahd halftime show rocked thanks to Mark’s steady leadership.
