Alex Wynn, TD’22

Alex is from LeRoy, NY, birthplace of Jell-O! This was about the most exciting part of her hometown, as the majority of her experience growing up was underfunded music programs and lots of cows. She’ll swear she grew up in the midwest of the northeast.  

 

Alex loves all things games: video games, card games, and board games. Catch her streaming on twitch, or teaching new band members how to play Wingspan (the coolest bird board-game ever). She also enjoys baking, telling jokes, and has been learning how to play the bass.

 

On the rare occasion that Alex isn’t doing something with the YPMB, you’ll find her doing work with Yale’s Carbon Charge, playing drums for theater shows, or practicing ASL. Every once and a while, you might even find her studying for her EVST degree, or her Energy Studies program.

 

Alex has loved the band since day one-she has previously served as a section leader for Kappa Banga Banga (KBB - the drumline), and as a Production Manager for halftime shows. She is always excited to meet prospective Members Of… over a meal, and would love to share everything that makes the YPMB so unique.
