The Yale Jazz Ensembles Big Band, Wayne Escoffery, Music Director, will perform its spring concert, “Comrades in Jazz: Celebrating Musical Connections and Fellowship,” on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at 7:30 p.m., in Morse Recital Hall in Sprague Memorial Hall. Admission is free (no tickets required).
In celebration of his 50th birthday and 8th year at Yale, Escoffery reflects on musical collaborations with friends and colleagues, with the band presenting big band arrangements and compositions by David Gibson, Steve Davis, Conrad Herwig, and others.
