Jeremiah Quinlan, MC ‘03

You can call him JQ, or just Q.  His tenure as Drum Major was marked by such moments of glory as the upset of Rutgers in the first round of the 2002 NIT (where this picture was taken) and Yale capturing the Ivy League Championship in basketball.   Such memorable shows as GESO Purge and the hahvahd shows were fronted by his butt-wiggling leadership.  He is immortalized by band members yelling at the top of their lungs “I love this song!” whenever Like a Prayer is being played at band parties and “Play Madonna!” whenever it is not.   Before being Drum Major, he was famous for being the only trumpet player louder than his instrument.  Now, you can find him at the Yale Admissions Office or on the basketball courts of Payne Whitney.
